Toward the end of any race time and fuel become most important, and the time for a fuel stop is crucial. Hence the term "splash and go" implies that just the exact measured amount of fuel needed to make it to the finish line fastest is added to the car. Here the driver (as any driver) waits patiently while these precisioned crew members refuel the car. And those in the pit row suites see first hand just how important this precision is.
