Each canvas digital print is prepared with care, and if properly maintained, will last a lifetime. Pigmented inks are archival by nature and those used here will last about 80 years if properly displayed. After the printing a coat of UV resistant varnish is applied. This coating is waterproof and free from UV degradation. But that does not mean you can hang it in direct sunlight:a north-facing wall is preferred. Direct sunlight will eventually destroy the bright colors and the protective coating. Your print includes a 1.5 inch colored border designed to produce a "gallery frame" or "gallery wrap." That is a simple wood frame or stretcher bar about 1.5 inches deep that allows you to hang the picture with no unfinished side exposed. Most frame stores can install one quite inexpensively, or we can do it for you. |
